ASAHI SHOES-DECK

Japanese Kurume-made shoe brand-ASAHI SHOES. Founded in 1892, it has a history of more than 120 years. This season we are introducing a branch line newly developed by the brand in 2017. The main products are inspired by some classic shoes from the 1970s and 1980s. It is worth mentioning that each pair is made by craftsmen in our own studio in Kurume.

Let me first introduce to you the brand's best-selling model - ASAHI DECK, which is based on the American deck shoes of the 1970s. Thick canvas is used as the main fabric of the shoe body, which has water-repellent function and can be used in the rainy season. The sole and body of the shoe are combined using Kurume's most familiar vulcanization technology at high temperatures, greatly improving durability. The soles are designed with wavy patterns and are anti-slip.

The entire production process is completed in Japan.
